Ways to Volunteer in the Community

Are you looking for ways to volunteer in your community?

This program will be in the East Chester Community only right now.
Pick-up dates are:
- February 9th, 2019
- May 11th, 2019
- August 10th, 2019
- November 9th, 2019

This will be for any residents in Chester County that qualifies for the program.
There will be several ways to volunteer through this program:
- You can volunteer as a individual to be put with a team
- You can volunteer as a company, church, organization to provide a team of volunteers
- You can volunteer as a company, church, organization to provide a team of volunteers and sponsor the materials for a house

This program will be a resource for anyone that lives in Chester County
This trailer will have tools and equipment on it to help maintain residents’ home and yard
The tools will be available for residents to borrow for up to three days but they must be returned cleaned on or before the due date
There will several ways that you can help through this program:
- You may donate a new tool or new piece of equipment
- You may volunteer to help maintain a yard for someone in the community that is unable to keep his or her yard maintained

This program will be a resource for anyone that lives in Chester County
This portable ramp system will be used if a resident needs to be non-weight baring for a couple of weeks or months
This system will also be used if a person qualifies for a permanent ramp through our SC Housing Trust Fund program while it is getting approval and being built
